Evidence produced inside the markets it describes.
Our research practice is led by doctoral researchers with quantitative and policy expertise, working from the countries they study.
01 What we produce
Decision ready evidence, produced inside the markets it describes.
The research practice in fullCommissioned research for institutions that have to defend a decision. We take a brief from question design through fieldwork to a written report your committee can read, and we document the methodology in full so it can be repeated. Where the evidence does not exist yet, we collect it.
- Question design and research protocol
- Instrument design, sampling and fieldwork across West Africa
- Quantitative analysis, econometric modelling and forecasting
- Qualitative interviews and stakeholder consultation
- Baseline studies, evaluations, sector diagnostics and feasibility work
- Written report, policy brief and a presentation to your team
- Documented methodology and data handover on request
02 How a study runs
Five stages, each one written down.
01
Question
We start from the decision you have to make and write the research question around it, with a protocol you sign off.
02
Instruments
Survey instruments, interview guides and a sampling frame designed for the population and the market in question.
03
Fieldwork
Data collection by people who work in the region, so access is quicker and respondents answer.
04
Analysis
Quantitative and econometric analysis alongside qualitative synthesis, each checked against the other.
05
Handover
A written report, a policy brief and a briefing for your team, with the methodology documented in full.
03 Publications
Reports, briefs and working papers.
Commissioned work belongs to the client and is published only with their agreement.
Public outputs will be listed here as they are released.
If you are looking for evidence on a specific market or question, write to us. We can tell you what exists and whether a short study would answer it.
